Where Els Nature becomes a place.
A small, growing collection of wellness retreats across the South of England, designed to do in a building what our skincare does on the skin: support rest without unnecessary complication.
Els Nature began as a daily ritual in a bottle: plant-based skincare for the small moments of restoration that punctuate a normal week. The retreats are the next chapter of the same idea, scaled up into places people travel to for a few days, where the rooms, the food, the water, and the rhythm of a stay all support the same philosophy.
We are looking for independent hotels and health clubs that already have what matters most: character, standards, a team that has cared for the place over years, and locations that invite guests to slow down. Coastal Devon. The Cotswolds. The South Downs. East Sussex. Cornwall. Anywhere a property feels naturally aligned with rest.

Businesses with strong standards, steady teams, and a guest experience already worth protecting. We invest behind quality that is already present.
Characterful
A building, a setting, or a story that makes the property irreplaceable. Coastal, countryside, or urban with a real sense of place.

Properties that already feel like somewhere guests come to rest. Spas, retreats, country-house hotels, health clubs with soul.
HOW WE APPROACH A PROPERTY
We begin by listening.
When we acquire a property, our priority is to look after what's been built. We respect the identity of the business, invest properly in the property and the guest experience where it helps, and continue the standards that have made the business what it is.
Some of the properties we take on retain their existing name and identity. Others, in time, become part of the Els Nature family more visibly: Els Nature Retreat, Els Nature Spa, Els Nature Wellness. Which path makes sense depends on the property, the conversation, and what serves the business.
What stays consistent is this: the business itself comes first.
A retreat can sit close to ordinary life and still change how a guest feels.
